Q. If I place an order on-line, is my credit card number secure? A. Absolutely. Our secure order form uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology from RSA Data Security to provide for site authentication and peer to peer secure communication. This allows you to submit orders and information to us without worrying about your credit card numbers being intercepted by others on the Internet. You can also verify our SSL certificate by placing your cursor over the COMODO logo. Q. Why doesn't my browser's lock icon indicate a secure connection? A. The reason the lock icon may not appear is that while the order form is run off of a secure server, the form page itself is part of a frameset which is run off a non-secure server (this is done for performance reasons). You can verify the secure connection by watching the progress indictor on the bottom of the browser window (it should say something like "establishing secure connection. Connection is secure.") or by opening the frame in a new window (the lock icon will then appear). Q. What kind of shipping containers are used and are they discreet? A. All orders are shipped in plain boxes or padded envelopes. The return address doesn't include any company name. Q. I am concerned about my privacy. Will my name be given or sold to others or used for unauthorized mailing lists? A. No. We will never sell your name to anyone else and will never mail you anything without your prior approval. If you'd like to receive periodic announcements of special promotions or be notified when new items are added to the on-line store, you can add your name to our mailing list. Q. Why do you want my e-mail address? A. If there are ever problems with your order, if an item is out of stock or needs to be specially ordered, or if we experience any problems with your credit card, we need to be able to reach you as quickly as possible. Also, you will be e-mailed a confirmation receipt upon ordering. Q. When I use my credit card, how do the charges appear on my credit card statement at the end of the month? A. Charges will appear as "VX1 Multimedia".
A. The most convenient (and least expensive) way to order is by using our on-line shopping cart system. Simply add the titles youd like to order to your shopping cart (you can modify the contents of the shopping cart at any time) and enter your shipping and payment info when prompted. Q. Are all of the items on the web site in stock? A. We maintain a physical inventory of over 30000 different items. Many (but not all) of these items can be found on the web site. Our suppliers keep an inventory of thousands of additional items which we can usually get within a few days (often within 24 hours). There are times when we are out of a requested item which is also out of stock at the distributor. In those cases, we'll let you know when we expect to receive the item(s) and may suggest partial shipments (ship the in-stock items immediately and the backordered items when they arrive), or a substitution.
Q. Im not comfortable giving credit information over the Internet. Is there any other way I can place an order? A. We do accept phone orders. Keep in mind however, that submitting your credit card information via fax or phone is potentially less secure than sending the information over a secure Internet connection. Q. When is my credit card charged? A. Your credit card is not charged until the items ship. A. No, we are unable to accept COD orders at the present time. COD shipment would increase your cost because a COD fee is added by the post office. Also, if the shipment is undeliverable or refused by the addressee, we have to pay the fees for delivery and COD, and we would have to increase our prices to everyone to cover us for the possibility of being stuck with these fees. Q. How can I order if I don't have a credit card? A. We can accept Canadian money orders. When placing your order, select the "Money Order" payment option then mail your payment to the address specified on your confirmation e-mail message. Q. If I order with a US credit card, am I charged US or Canadian dollars?

Canada's Best, will not be held responsible for any shipments seized by foreign customs officials or for any duties, taxes or customs fees which may be charged by by customs.
To minimize the possibility of cross border shipping problems, you may want to request the "generic packaging" option when placing your order. Q. How do you ship your items? A. Local (GTA) orders ship via Canpar. Other Canadian and US orders ship via UPS Standard. Contact us for details on International orders. Transit time is up to 4 business days for Canadian orders, up to 5 business days for US orders. Contact us directly if you'd prefer a faster shipping option.
Q. How long does it typically take for me to receive my items once I have placed an order? A. Most orders are processed and ship out in one or two business days unless one or more of the items you've ordered is backordered (in which case you'll be notified). The time in transit depends of which shipping option you choose. Q. Do you include the original box with your videos? A. Yes. There are at least two reasons why many other Internet adult movie sites dont include original box art with the videos they ship: Some disreputable companies are selling unauthorized copies of videos. They buy one legitimate copy of a title from a distributor and then make hundreds of copies (usually using low quality item and inferior equipment). The result is a poor quality product and no box cover art to match up with the illegal copies. The second reason is more pragmatic, shipping costs are higher for a boxed video than for just the item itself. At Canadas Best, we only ship the highest quality product we can find which we purchase from authorized Canadian distributors. While we always include the original cover art, to save on shipping costs, we remove the plastic or Styrofoam insert from the package.
Q. What are your shipping charges? A. We now offer flat-rate shipping. $10 to anywhere in North America, regardless of number of items.

Like all video retailers (and not just of adult videos) our policy is "No Returns, No Exchanges, No Refunds." The very good reason for this policy is that it would be all too easy for a dishonest customer to purchase a item, copy it, and then return the original for a refund, thus receiving our merchandise absolutely free. Even though only a very small minority might resort to such thievery, the rules must be the same for everyone. Q. What if I receive a damaged or defective item?
A. If you receive a video or DVD that fails to perform due to manufacturer's defect or was damaged in shipping, please contact us immediately. We will ship you a replacement at no cost to you and include instructions and postage to return the damaged/defective item. Please e-mail or call us with your request before returning your product.
Q. What video formats are available? Do you have PAL? A. No. All of our videos are NTSC format - - PAL and SECAM are not available. This is an important question, because WE DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS FOR PEOPLE EXPECTING PAL OR SECAM VIDEOS Q. Are the videos and DVDs "pornography"? A. The videos and DVDs all portray various forms of sexual activity performed by consenting adults. Sexually explicit images are often loosely referred to as "pornography" or "porn," but that doesn't mean they are "pornographic" or "obscene" in the legal sense. We do not have, do not want, and cannot supply, any illegal material such as child pornography (sexual activity performed by children under 18 years of age), bestiality (sexual activity between humans and animals), rape, torture, or sex with violence (even if only simulated). Q. Are any of the videos censored or cut? A. With a few exceptions, all of the videos we offer are completely explicit, uncut, and uncensored. If a movie has been severely edited to comply with Canadian guidelines, then we don't offer it in our selection. Q. Why don't you carry a larger selection of "classic" movies or older titles?
A. There is only a limited selection of unedited older movies available in Canada. Years ago, when these movies were originally released, the laws in Canada were quite restrictive and adult movies tended to be butchered before being released in Canada (the result was similar to the soft-core porn currently shown on the Playboy Channel). If a supplier wanted to distribute an unedited version now that the Canadian laws have been relaxed, they'd have to purchase an unedited master item from the film's producers/owners and resubmit the movie to the Provincial Review Boards for approval. This is an expensive process which doesn't make good economic sense since the demand for "classics" and older items is extremely low. Q. Why can I purchase a title from the US before it's available in Canada? A. Again we are at the mercy of our Suppliers who decide which titles will be made available and when. American companies are not bound by the same approval requirements and costs. For financial reasons Canadian suppliers have to be more selective. If one was to order a title from a US vendor which was not yet available from a Canadian source, the odds are extremely high that it would be confiscated at the border (see Question 7.4).

In order for the shopping basket software to work properly, your browser must be configured to accept "cookies". Cookies are small bits of code sent from the server to your computer where they are stored and help to remember certain information (in this case the cookie remembers your shopping basket contents.)
